PAYMENT
Payment is collected at the time of order. If items are unavailable or back ordered, or, if the order is canceled within 24 hours, an immediate refund will be made to the purchaser at his/her discretion. Acceptable forms of payment are Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discovery.
RETURNS
No returns on any website, vintage items or new merchandise purchases out of our retail store are allowed at this time.
DELIVERY GUIDANCE
We understand and realize that in the world of shipping, damages and losses happen. It could be our mistake or the carrier’s, but we want to make sure that your items are covered. In order to make that happen we need a few things from you when your mod livin package/furniture arrives.
Please understand that once you sign for the delivery you are declaring that you accept the merchandise as-is.
Below are a few things to remember:
1- Prior to signing: Inspect the box, and open the box while the driver is still present.
2- If you see damage on the box, make sure your purchase is not damaged.
3- When signing on the delivery slip always sign with the words- “Subject to inspection" (even if you have inspected it)
4- If you item is damaged refuse the shipment and call mod livin’ immediately
As a reminder if you see damage after the delivery person has left and you have not signed the delivery slip “Subject to inspection" you are taking the full responsibility that the item (s) are to your satisfaction.
DAMAGE IN TRANSIT
In every case, it is very important that item(s) contained in the shipment be inspected immediately upon receipt. If there is obvious significant damage to the container, purchaser has the right to refuse acceptance by noting this on the shipping documents. If it is not practical to inspect merchandise upon acceptance, or, if the purchaser feels that there may be hidden damage, it is recommended that the notation "receipt subject to inspection" be written on the shipping documents. Please contact one of our representatives immediately at 720 941 9292 to report damage and to receive instructions on how to proceed. All packaging should be saved for the purpose of documentation. Wherever possible, it is helpful to take several low resolution images of the damaged merchandise and/or packing materials to assist in the claims process.
CANCELLATION
Orders may be canceled for a full refund within 24 hours of the time of confirmation by Mod Livin'. Orders canceled beyond the 24 hour window may be subject to a cancellation or re-stocking fee. Mod Livin' reserves the right to cancel any order. Special order or custom-made items may not be canceled once the manufacturer confirms receipt of same.
LEAD TIMES
Every effort will be made to spell out to the purchaser estimated lead times at the time of order. Most items are stocked by the manufacturer, and are 'drop shipped' directly to the recipient. Certain products are not stocked stateside, and may require a lead time of as much as 12-14 weeks for production and shipment from overseas. We take strides to act as your intermediary with our manufacturers in a professional manner; however, Mod Livin' cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen delays or costs associated with items deemed out of stock or not delivered within the original estimated lead time by the manufacturer. Please note that increased port security and customs inspections can contribute to shipping delays which we cannot be held accountable for.
SHIPPING
The majority of products sold on the Mod Livin' website include the cost of shipping with a minimum purchase price of $75.00. Larger items (i.e. imported, oversized items) may require an additional charge, generally noted in the product description. Most shipments are contracted via FedEX Ground or UPS. Items exceeding standard shipping dimensions are dispatched by specialized freight carriers. Where feasible, every attempt will be made to provide tracking data and to accommodate special circumstances. Standard shipping is 'point of threshold' only and does not include removal of packing materials. Special 'white glove' options involving premium delivery and assembly may be available for an additional charge. Mod Livin' ships to addresses within the contiguous 48 states. We will be happy to work with your freight forwarder for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii or overseas locations. Mod Livin' does not ship to post office boxes. PRIVACY and SECURITY
We take privacy very seriously. All of our representatives adhere to the highest standards in gathering, using, and safeguarding the information our clients entrust to us. The information is used for the purpose for which it was collected and is never sold, loaned or traded to third parties. All online orders are transmitted over secure internet connections using Secure Sockets Layer encryption. All account and personal information submitted is stored in an encrypted format, and is never held on a server or saved in a database. We welcome the opportunity to speak directly with you over the phone, and you should never feel limited to ordering from us strictly via the internet.
PRICING
Prices are subject to change without notice. We represent a host of manufacturers, and occasionally there may be a delay associated with the receipt of their most current price and stock lists. While we strive for 100% accuracy, there may be a time when an incorrect price (or other associated error) appears on Modlivin.com. You will be notified directly of any discrepancies and we will hold off charging you until approval is received. Prices in our store may reflect differently from those on our website for a variety of reasons, and no guarantee is written or implied as it pertains to refunds.
